Warehouse Safety Misconception
There are many warehouse safety misconceptions, so today we are here to tell you all of these misconceptions and fill you in with the proper warehouse safety information.
To start we will be discussing shelving. What most people think about is capacity, but that’s not the only thing you have to keep in mind. Make sure you are using the right shelving for your operations. For example, pallets should never be stored on wire racks, even if the wire rack has a high capacity. Pallet racks are made for pallets. Use the right shelving for the right job.
Another misconception is that having safety equipment is a catch-all to having a safe warehouse. That is not true. You must be diligent about safety and use the safety equipment properly.
In a warehouse, there is lots of room for danger. With that in mind work smarter and you are sure to be safer. Safety is number one at A Plus Warehouse, and we want to do our best to provide you with all the information you need to be safe.
When outfitting your warehouse, it is important to meet all of OSHA’s regulations. A Plus warehouse meets OSHA standards as well as having CAL OSHA safe products available.
